What is a Listenatarian?

Transforming your body and health with food is not about finding your food tribe or engaging in diet wars. It’s about harnessing the power of food as medicine and the art of listening to your body. Knowing what your body needs now is what is most important and that may not neatly fit into an existing diet trend.

Developing a relationship with your body and with food and observing how the two interact is where real transformations in your health occur and this skill of listening to your body can ultimately become your greatest and most enduring ally in your health and well being throughout your life.

As your practitioner it is my role to also listen… I am listening to you and your observations, preferences and gut feelings… I am also listening through many objective sources to get the whole picture that may span everything from your physiology and current lab results, nutrition status, genetics and applied epigenetics to family history, health history, current health concerns and health goals and future goals to even where you live and what season it is.

This is the whole picture not confined by a preset diet. An optimal plan customized to you that unlocks foundational foods and diet habits that will always be key for you while also giving room to listen, adjust and evolve when needed.
